- Description: Block protein synthesis of bacteria which usually results in bacterial death. Topical treatment of impetigo due to staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus. Useful for treating superficial methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus infections. Excellent activity against gram-positive staphylococci and streptococci for the treatment of primary and secondary skin disorders.
